Due to the nature of personalized handmade goods and services, my products cannot be accepted for return or refund unless I made an error on your order. If I made an error, please contact me immediately and I will replace the affected item at no cost to you.
I do not accept returns or refunds due to the following:
Design: I have lots of designs that customers can choose from. Due to this, I cannot accept returns or refunds if a customer is unsatisfied with the design they chose.
Personalization: I copy and paste all information straight from your order and do not check for spelling or other personalization errors. It is vital that you check your spelling, grammar, and punctuation to make sure all the information you’ve provided is completely correct. This is the customer’s responsibility and I cannot be held liable for a customer providing incorrect information.
Wood type and/or Color: I provide images in my listings for reference on the wood types and colors. Please refer to these images to see a range of different coloration and grain possibilities for each wood type. Because I use natural wood and do not stain or lacquer my products there will be color variations that might be different from what is shown in my listing images. Each piece of wood is unique, resulting in every product having its own individual coloring and grain. This is what makes all my products one-of-a-kind!
Engraving Color: My cutting boards are engraved using a high-density laser beam burning process. As a result, the engraving’s color varies depending on the actual piece of wood and its specific color change in reaction to the laser beam. I cannot accept returns or refunds due to the engraving color as I have no control over this aspect of the design.
Size: I list all of my product sizes in inches and all sizes can be found in the Additional Information section at the bottom of each of my listings. If you’re unsure about which size you would like or how big a cutting board is, I suggest customers use a measuring tape at home to decide which size they would like before purchasing. I cannot accept returns if a customer purchased the wrong size.
Care: I do not accept returns or refunds if one of my products becomes damaged or worn due to improper care on the customer’s part. Please refer to the “Cutting Board Care Instructions” included in your package or here on my website for tips on how to properly take care of your board.
Damage: If your package arrives damaged, you must notify me immediately. The time to file a claim for a damaged package with the shipping company is 5 business days after you receive your order. After you’ve contacted me, I will file a claim with the shipping company. If the claim is approved, I will make and ship you a new product as soon as possible at no extra cost to you.
Lost Package: If the expected date of arrival passes and your package has not arrived, please first contact the shipping company immediately to inquire about your package. Have your tracking number handy. The shipping company has access to more detailed information about your package as I am only able to access the same tracking information as a customer. If the shipping company claims the package has been lost, contact me immediately. I will then file a claim for a lost package with the shipping company. If the claim is approved, I will reprocess your order and ship it promptly at no cost to you.
